We offer a variety of blade profiles in Aluminium ranging from 45mm to 600mm sizes. Aluminium provides a sense of security and durability for either indoors or outdoors and can be used in a wide variety of applications from standard shutters to privacy screens, sun awnings and roofing systems. They come in a range of 80 high impact powder coat colour or can be marine grade anodized. The Classic 90 Blade profile is the most popular residential choice as it suits many opening configurations both indoor and out. Although there is a tendency towards interior installations as hard window furnishing, there is a new and greater awarness of the sensibility to attach Shutters to the exterior to combat heat gain and insulation efficiencies.
The integrity of paint build and adhesion should not be under estimated. Its not worth debating the comparisons of lacquers on wood or wet paints on other surfaces when Powder Coat is considered such reliable high standard coating. 7 year standard warranty on Adhesion and Gloss factor on all our Aluma range
All blades and frame profiles are constructed from Architectural Grade heat tempered Aluminium. All sections of frame and blades across our entire range are double or triple wall construction resulting in highly engineered designs capable of wide spans, low deflection and high load capacities. A painted Aluminium Shutter is far superior to a wood shutter in construction, durability, paint hardness and expectation of life cycle.
High traffic ability shutters are well suited to Commercial, Hospitality and public access installations. Our Aluma Series Shutters are available in Live Load, Human Impact and Cyclone rated versions. Our design of Aluminium Shutters look exactly the same as our Cedar and Polywood profiles.
We use only stainless Steel or High Strength polymer components to construct our shutters. No rust, no failure. Just wash it down with soapy water as you would clean your car.
