Privacy Screens are a mandatory inclusion in many Council DA approvals in considering close proximity dwellings applications.
A vertical oriented Plantation Shutter provides the view and privacy needs of both the occupant as well as the neighbours.
Aluminium Shutters or Polywood Woodland Plantation Shutters can be built and installed vertically. Consider the construction of the shutters to comply with the live load or wind load engineering. It is not just a matter of tilting the shutters.
The larger blades such as 150mm or 200mm are well suited to vertical Privacy Screens. The larger blade offers a greater view and provides a greater obstruction acting as privacy to adjacent elevation.
